There's no shortage of enormous monsters to fight in Dragon's Dogma 2. After the barrel of laughs that was Baldur's Gate 3 co-op, many players will be curious if they can take on Capcom's latest RPG with friends. This guide will reveal if Dragon's Dogma 2 is co-op.
From the trailers we've seen so far, it looks like character creation offers plenty of depth for players creating the characters of their dreams. Gameplay appears to be inspired by the Monster Hunter series - looking pretty won't stop players from being crushed, but it does mean they'll die in style.

Will Dragon's Dogma 2 have multiplayer co-op?
No, Dragon's Dogma 2 does not have co-op. The game is is single-player only.
That's not to say there's no way to enjoy the game with friends, however. In Dragon's Dogma 2, players create an Arisen (their main character) and a fully customisable 'Pawn' character (a typical party member.)
Pawns that were created by other players can be recruited through the game's online network. There hasn't been any confirmation at time of writing, but it feels safe to assume that friends' pawns can be searched for.
While some players will be disappointed, there's tons of great games that can provide a co-op fix in the meantime. Monster Hunter will let your group take on huge monsters, while Baldur's Gate 3 is an RPG that provides hundreds of hours of Dungeons and Dragons-inspired fun.
While they don't share much DNA with Dragon's Dogma 2, games like Lethal Company have also seen massive popularity with horror fans. If being chased by monsters isn't your thing, a chill co-op experience is offered by the endless space of No Man's Sky, too.
