Pokémon Legends: Arceus is finally with us, and it's brought a whole host of changes to the traditional Pokémon formula alongside it, while delivering fan favourite Pokémon still, such as Eevee and each Eeveelution. Poké Marts are no more, leaving players to forage or talk with merchants for items, and some new Pokémon are now even rideable.

The changes aren't limited to just that, though. While traversing the open-world areas of Hisui and studying Pokémon as a part of the Galaxy Expedition Team, players will undoubtedly need to evolve their 'mons at some point. However, evolution has changed a little and no longer automatically occurs.

Eevee is one of the Pokémon with the most evolutions, and players have been left a little confused as to how to get every Eeveelution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, given that evolution is no longer automatic. We've stepped in to explain where to find Eevee and how to get every Eevee evolution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

How to Get Eevee

Fortunately, Eevee's location isn't too hard to find in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Players can find the furry little 'mon roaming Horseshoe Plains in Obsidian Fieldlands, which is the first area of the map that players unlock.

Eevee can specifically be found around the edge of the ponds in Horseshoe Plains. While locating the area isn't difficult, Eevee is a little rarer than other Pokémon, so you may have to make a few trips to the area before one of them spawns.

How to Evolve Eevee

How you actually evolve your Eevee in Pokémon Legends: Arceus depends on which of the many evolutions you're after. We've explained how to get each eeveelution below:

Vaporeon, Jolteon, Glaceon, Flareon, and Leafeon

Evolving Eevee into Vaporeon, Jolteon, Glaceon, Flareon, or Leafeon is relatively simple. First and foremost, players must acquire the evolution stone associated with the desired eeveelution. These stones can be acquired from a Trade Post, which we talk more about here.

Once you've got the necessary stone, simply give it to your Eevee and watch them evolve!

Umbreon, Espeon, and Sylveon

To evolve your Eevee into Umbreon, Espeon, or Sylveon, things have to be done a little differently. There are a couple requirements that must be met for each Pokémon, but these luckily shouldn't be too hard to acquire.

First, your friendship level with your Eevee needs to be maxed out. You can monitor your friendship levels with a Pokémon by speaking to Belamy at the Pastures in Jubilife Village. Once you're 'fast friends' with Eevee, indicating they're ready to be evolved, what you do next entirely depends on which specific eeveelution you're wanting.

For Umbreon and Espeon, players must unequip all Fairy-type moves. Eevee can then evolve into Umbreon if evolution occurs at night, or Espeon is evolution occurs during the day. As for Sylveon, Eevee must have a Fairy-type move equipped and can then be evolved at any time whatsoever.

When it comes to getting your favourite Eeveelution, or all of them, it's as simple as that in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. When it comes to battling, too, you'll want to be extra prepared for the likes of Noble Pokémon and Alpha Pokémon.
