Social media is continuing to affect share prices in gaming, with Elon Musk boosting the value of CD Projekt Red after he approved of Cyberpunk 2077.
This really goes to show that hate of the game isn’t as universal as the internet might make it seem.

What Did Elon Musk Say?
In a follow up to a Tweet about the Tesla Model S Plaid Musk gave two single line Tweets.
He said: “It can play Cyberpunk” a feat which many game consoles and computers can’t achieve followed by:
“The esthetics of Cyberpunk are incredible btw. The interior design is👌.”

And he isn’t wrong, while Night City is not a place many people would actually like to live the design and attention to details of that game are one to marvel at.
It really captures the vibe and overall feel it is trying to achieve.
Though, we should note the Elon Musk may not be entirely impartial.
His girlfriend, and the mother of his son X Æ A-Xii, does voice a character in the game.
The popular musician voices the character of Lizzy Wizzy who players can meet in Act 3 of Cyberpunk 2077 through a side quest.
If your partner was involved in a project, it would definitely be easy to view it with rose-tinted goggles!
Though perhaps his comments will have players have another crack at the game and help CD Projekt Red rebuild their brand image.
