Italian indie developer Jyamma Games recently showcased its latest trailer for the souls-like Enotria: The Last Song during Gamescom 2024.
Slated to release this September 19 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, Enotria may no longer be released on Xbox despite the developer already having the game ready for it.
Jyamma Games confirmed via an announcement on their website and X that the game will not come to Xbox, mainly due to Microsoft's communication lapses.
Jyamma Games mentioned on an X post that communicating with Microsoft regarding the submission for the game’s Xbox version has been a hard task.
It has been two months since they initiated the conversation with Xbox, and they have not received an update.
As per Windows Central, Jymma Games CEO Jacky Greco firmly stated that Microsoft does not care about Enotria or its fans. He mentioned that he has spent a lot of money in porting and Microsoft has decided to ignore them.

Enotria: The Last Song is a third-person action-adventure game similar to Dark Souls and other soulslike games. It is set in a bright and sunlit world inspired by Italian folklore, where enemies wear masks that players can obtain to alter their character’s playstyle and abilities. Several trailers show that the gameplay focuses on parries and deflects, with no visible shield equipment. Numerous weapons are accessible in-game, each with varying move sets. With Jymma Games’ announcement of the indefinite delay on Xbox, the game will now only be available to PC and PS5, and Xbox players will have to wait.
An X post from Jymma Games also mentioned that if they could’ve had a dedicated Xbox account manager, the issue wouldn’t exist, and they asked if someone could help them contact Xbox directly. This may suggest that an Xbox release is possible after all until Xbox responds to Jymma Games.
