Gamers gathered online to celebrate the biggest gaming event of the year during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024.
With different developers announcing massive titles, the gaming industry is in for a treat in the coming months.
With a bunch of amazing titles coming soon, we’ve collated the top 10 games from Gamescom’s Opening Night Live 2024.
Path of Exile 2
After more than ten years, Grinding Gear Games' free-to-play action RPG Path of Exile 2 will have a sequel. It will be available for early access on November 15, 2024.
With cross-progression and cross-play features, Path of Exile aims to deliver a brand-new gaming experience for the franchise's fans. Split-screen couch coop will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
Sid Meier's Civilization 7
Civilization VII, featuring a brand-new Ages mechanic, will be released on February 11, 2025, on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
The game will launch simultaneously on all available platforms and feature cross-play between PC and consoles. Players who want early access may purchase the Deluxe and Founders editions.
Little Nightmares 3
Published by Bandai Namco and now developed by Supermassive Games, Little Nightmares 3 brings the franchise to a more sinister and thrilling setting with its two new protagonists, Low and Alone.
The game will have an online co-op mode similar to the game It Takes Two, and the single-player mode will include an AI companion. It is set for a 2025 release date.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person action adventure from MachineGames set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Indiana Jones will utilize several tools and equipment to uncover the mystery behind the Great Circle, a set of mysterious sites worldwide that form a circle when connected on a map. The game will launch first on PC and Xbox on December 9, 2024, and will be available to PlayStation 5 early next year.
King of Meat
Amazon Games announced a new co-op game set to rival Fall Guys. Considered a hack-and-slash spectacle, King Of Meat pits players in various challenging dungeons that are either set levels in the game or created by other players.
Players can either team up or go against other players as they slash through cutesy monsters such as skeletons, trolls, etc. King Of Meat will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
SNK’s fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will launch in April 2025. It will feature a new solo RPG mode that lets players choose a character to play with throughout various matches.
Pre-orders are now live, and players can choose between the Standard and Special Editions, including the game’s first Season Pass.
Mecha Break
If you want to finally pilot a mech and go to battle with 59 more players in a battle-royal setting, Mecha Break will be ready for players soon.
Developed by Amazing Seasun Games, Mecha Break recently completed its closed beta test for PC and will start its Xbox closed beta test on August 25-27.
Monster Hunter Wilds
The latest installment to the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Wilds, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Featuring a new mechanic called Focus Mode, players can now aim their attacks or guard in the direction where the camera is facing.
Focus Mode will also highlight monster wounds and weak spots that deal more damage when attacked. While Monster Hunter Wilds is set to release in 2025, there are no specific release dates yet.
InZoi
InZoi is a fresh new take on the life-simulator genre, and developer Krafton aims to simulate a unique gaming experience by utilizing Unreal Engine 5. The game will only be available on PC, and there is no further information as to when it’ll be available on consoles.
The game takes on a new approach to the genre by simulating a complete community simulation of every NPC character acting on their free will, resulting in many immersive and unexpected outcomes.
Dying Light: The Beast
Kyle Crane returns to fight monsters and zombies in the new Dying Light: The Beast. Now infused with beast-like powers, Kyle must deliver revenge while uncovering more of the game's events.
The new game is also expected to include a 4-player co-op multiplayer feature. Dying Light: The Beast is a standalone title; however, players who have purchased Dying Light 2: Stay Human Ultimate Edition will get the new game free of charge.
