Escape From Tarkov Ammo Chart
If you've spent longer than ten minutes playing Escape From Tarkov, you'll be aware that there are multiple types of ammo for the many weapons on offer. For anyone new to the game, this can be incredibly overwhelming, but do not fear!
Fortunately, one Twitter user, NoFoodAfterMidnight, has been notorious for regularly creating and updating ammo charts for Tarkov players. The below ammo chart is up-to-date as of the 12.12 patch, and existing issues have once again been amended and rebalanced for Escape From Tarkov players.
The Twitter user's chart is incredibly detailed and easy to read, with fellow Reddit user, Nighteeeey, even making high-definition versions of the chart too. Therefore, the ammo chart is now easily accessible to all Tarkov players.
The Tarkov ammo chart details the best types of ammo; these are sorted by an 'overall best', the 'best budget' and the best ammo type for each weapon type. The weapons the chart makes mention to range from Rifle to Shotgun, and from SMG to Pistol. There's pretty much everything a player might need. Additionally, the chart can be used to work out how effective each ammo type is against different armour types.
The ammo chart is updated regularly to reflect the most present state of Escape From Tarkov, and proves incredibly useful for many types of player, especially beginners! Don't forget to check out our weapons tier list to decide what your gun of choice may be before experimenting with ammo.
