Wandering the world of Fae Farm, wondering how to get frog sweat? It's a strange item, and only natural that you'd look for help! This guide will explain how to get frog sweat in Fae Farm.
It's one of Argyle's favourite items, and if you're looking to romance the frog-loving fellow, it's worth keeping at least ten frog sweat in your storage shed in case they ask for some. Other characters and crafting recipes randomly ask for it, too, so don't ignore the item if you don't like Argyle!
Before we get into the guide, be sure to brush up on your Fae Farm knowledge with our guide to getting copper. We can also help you get iron and have a guide to crossbreeding flowers, too.
How to get frog sweat in Fae Farm
While your first instinct may be to chase a frog around until it starts sweating, this will make the critters disappear. What you'll actually need to do is craft a lowlands critter conservatory, and that requires:
- Beech lumber (5)
- Stone brick (5)
- Plant fibers (20)
- Silt (20)
Lumber is made at a lumber station, and stone bricks are smelted with a stone forge, so make sure you've got at least one of each on your farm, too. The conservatory takes up a decent amount of space but will be ready for use immediately.
You'll now need to catch a frog and can use your critter-catching net to scoop up any frog. Putting them inside the conservatory will see the frog leave behind at least one frog sweat around 30 seconds later. Rare frogs will yield more sweat, so watch for any unusually coloured frogs in your adventures.
The best way to catch frogs is to start in the area around the NPC Drak in the evening. Near him, two or three frogs will be in the area. Next, stick to the rivers as you make your way down to the beaches where some more may lurk, and return to Drak to hopefully catch some of the respawned frogs.
As your critter-catching level increases, you'll find that frogs sometimes create a jar of frog sweat when captured; this effect can also be triggered consistently by eating a deluxe fruit tart to become an effective frog sweat farmer.
That's everything you need to know about frog sweat! We've covered plenty of other Fae Farm items, both major and obscure, from clover feed to spore essence and everything else you'll need to get ahead.
