The reviews for the most-awaited Silent Hill 2 Remake from developer Bloober Team are now live from various critics and media sites. With a whopping 91% critic recommendation score on OpenCritic and 87 Metascore on Metacritic, Konami's first remake of the psychological horror franchise is sending Silent Hill fans into a state of shock and bliss.
The initial trailers for Silent Hill 2 Remake did not evoke the horror expected by fans, and many have been trying not to set themselves up for disappointment. However, thanks to the generally positive reception from critics, horror fans are ready to set foot in the haunted town once again.

With most of them giving the game a 10/10 score, fans were surprised to see that the game is actually getting good reviews. One fan even stated that the scores were unexpected and that seeing a well-reviewed game from Bloober Team is not in their 2024 bingo card.

While it may sound satirical to some, die-hard Silent Hill fans were disappointed with the recent trailers they've seen over the past few months so seeing Silent Hill 2 Remake become the game they've always wanted already a win. For some fans, running away from Pyramid Head in full 4K is something that needs to happen this Halloween.
Others shared that these scores sent them from thinking that the game was looking rough into making them look forward to playing the game. Bloober Team did a great job in reimagining the terror and trauma that Silent Hill 2 left its fans and now that the game is fully remade, fans can now look forward to feeling the same dread and fear all over again.
