The sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake offers an expansive world outside of Midgar for Cloud and his crew to explore. With that being the case, you may be wondering how to fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to get from one place to another in an instant.
Whether you’re a fan of the original PS1 title or if it’s your first time setting foot outside of the Mako-fueled metropolis, expectations are high for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The game will have plenty to do between side quests and mini-games so cutting down on travelling time can help you get through more content in your spare time.

How to use fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
The fast travel system doesn’t deviate much from other open-world games, so all you have to do is open up your map and select the icon of the location you wish to travel to. Of course, you’ll need to have already visited a location to be able to fast travel to it.
Because the scope of FF7 Rebirth is much larger than that of its predecessor, fast travel between regions will require an extra step. To do this, you will need to speak to a specific NPC within each region to fast travel to another one.
Here’s a list of the people you’ll need to seek out for help with your travels:
- Grasslands – Ranch Hand at Bill’s Ranch
- Junon – Ranch Hand at Gabe’s Ranch
- Under Junon – Ferry Attendant at Ferryboat Dock
- Costa del Sol – Ferry Attendant at Ferryboat Dock
- Corel – Call Cid on the phone while at Corel Airstrip
- Gongaga – Call Cid on the phone while at Gongaga Airstrip
- Cosmo Canyon – Call Cid on the phone while at Cosmo Canyon Airstrip
- Nibel – Call Cid on the phone while at Nibel Airstrip
