Fresh off the latest Fornite patch V9.40, we may already have an idea of what is to come in the next update. Data miners are always on the ball as soon as a major update releases for Fortnite, digging through lines and lines of code they usually find every little detail from cosmetics to new game modes. This time around they managed to leak two key things coming soon to Fortnite.
Fortnite continues to innovate its game with new items and in-game events, the recent addition of the 'Legendary and Epic Tac Shotgun' consumable is a testament to this.

Happy Birthday Fortnite!
July 21st, 2017 is the day that Epic Games decided to release the battle royale aspect of their newest title Fortnite. Upon this release, no one in the world could have seen what was about to happen, Fortnite took over not only the gaming world but the entire world and to this day is still one of the most popular games in existance. Now, we are approaching Fortnite's second birthday since it's release and much like last year, Epic is implementing some unique challenges for players to unlock and celebrate together; this game has bonded the world and it most certainly deserves the celebration Epic gives us.
Famous leaker Lucas7Yoshi discovered these set of challenges, that should be unlocked in the coming days, with these challenges comes unique cosmetic items players will have the chance to unlock. From a new harvesting tool to a music kit, these five challenges have a different reward for each.

- Play Matches: 10
- Dance in front of Birthday Cakes: 10
- Outlast Opponents: 500
- Gain health or shield from Birthday Cakes: 50

Overtime!
Towards the tail end of recent Fortnite Seasons, Epic Games has implemented these Overtime challenges for players to unlock different variations of Battle Pass skins and other unique cosmetics. These challenges reward players for sticking with the game throughout its Season and offers some cool options to some of the best Battle Pass skins!
During the Season 8 Overtime challenges, Fortnite opted to give an additional reward to players who completed all challenges. If a player did complete all of the challenges they would further be rewarded with a free Battle Pass for the next season; according to Lucas7Yoshi Epic Games may be doing the same thing for the upcoming Season 10!
Players will be able to unlock variations of these cosmetics: Bunker Jonsey, Demi and Stratus!
Another Sniper?
During Fortnite patch V9.40 Epic decided to vault the Suppressed Bolt-Action Sniper rifle and bring back the regular version of this weapon, a nice decision on their behalf as the latter was a fan favourite and one that was in the game from the beginning. With the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle in the game still, we may finally see it go back to the vault in favour of a new weapon discovered by none other than Lucas7Yoshi.
The new "Storm Scout Sniper Rifle" has a rumored clip size of six and a slightly slower fire rate than the Semi-Auto, along with a normal damage rate of 85/81 (depending on the variant) it seems as though this is finally the replacement for the Semi-Auto!.
