Funko Fusion Gameplay Explained
10-10 Games’ Funko Fusion is essentially the same general idea as the long-running LEGO games, albeit with Funko Pop characters and aesthetics. As a collection of characters, you’ll explore themed stages – such as the T-Rex versus I-Rex fight in Jurassic World – and fight through hordes of enemies while solving puzzles.
Funko Fusion combat consists of both ranged and melee combat. Characters like Rick Grimes will be able to shoot with their iconic weapons, whereas some characters, like He-Man, will be restricted to melee attacks. Some characters, such as the cast of The Umbrella Academy, will also be able to use their superpowers to zip around stages.
Is There Voice Acting in Funko Fusion?
Unlike modern LEGO games, the majority of characters in Funko Fusion cannot speak. As Funko Pops don’t have mouths, most characters will be unable to speak, although some scenes will feature silent speech bubbles. However, there will be some minor voice acting from the game’s lead villain as seen in the game’s reveal trailer.
Funko Fusion Multiplayer
Funko Fusion multiplayer is officially supported by developer 10-10 Games, although it seems co-op play is restricted to online connections only.
Funko Fusion Release Date
The release date for Funko Fusion has been confirmed for September 13, 2024. Funko Fusion releases on PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and PS5. There is no Xbox One version of the game despite its release on the lower-power Nintendo Switch.
