What is the Genshin Impact Version 4.5 release date?
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 will release on 13 March 2024 at 11:00 AM UTC+8. The download size this time is expected to be quite large, but you'll get the option to preinstall the update before it goes live. Furthermore, we'll also get a livestream a few weeks before the launch of Version 4.5.
When is the Genshin Impact Version 4.5 livestream?
Unlike the updates, the livestream schedule isn't always fixed, but we can expect the Genshin Impact Version 4.5 livestream to be held on 1 March 2024. It can deviate from this expected date by a few days. The livestream will provide us with a full breakdown of all the new events, banners, and updates to expect in Genshin Impact Version 4.5.
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 banners and new character
The star of Genshin Impact 4.5 will be the new Geo character, Chiori. Chiori is a costume designer from Inazuma and has been featured in much of the marketing leading up to Version 4.5. She has a Geo Vision and will dual-wield two swords. According to leaks, her playstyle revolves around swift and powerful attacks that scale with the DEF stat. Her Elemental Skill lets her blink anywhere like Keqing, while her Elemental Burst is a powerful 360-degree slash.
Besides Chiori, there are several notable reruns expected in Genshin Impact Version 4.5. Arrataki Itto is expected to have his rerun alongside Chiori during Phase 1 of Version 4.5.
During the second phase of Version 4.5, most leaks suggest that we will get Kazuha alongside Neuvillette's first rerun. Those expecting a Lyney rerun are out of luck with this patch.
Interestingly enough, we can expect a third regional banner featuring characters from Mondstadt, including Albedo. This banner will work similarly to the weapons banners, and you can choose the character you're trying to pull by accumulating fate points for a guaranteed wish.
As for the weapons we expect a new 5-star sword, Chiori's signature weapon, and a 4-star polearm that you can get for free from the main event in Version 4.5.
Genshin Impact Version 4.5 - what else is new?
While we don't have any confirmation on the new events or regions that will unlock in Genshin Impact Version 4.5, leaks suggest something that's equally exciting. According to some leaks, Genshin Impact 4.5 will add the 'Highest' quality setting to the graphics options. This would result in much higher visual fidelity for everything, potentially making it the largest update since the game's launch.
Other than that, according to leaks, we can expect a story quest revolving around Chiori and a hangout quest for Lynette. The main event will take place in Mondstadt, and we'll get three smaller events alongside this. In terms of Primogems, this is one of the weakest patches released, so F2P players are going to have it rough.
Note that a lot of the items listed here are based on leaks, and Hoyoverse might ship out something completely different in Version 4.5. Tune in for the Genshin Impact 4.5 livestream to find out what we're really getting.
