Lynette is an Anemo character in Genshin Impact who debuted in patch 4.0. If you are interested in trying out the new Anemo wielder our Genshin Impact Lynette build guide will go over her best weapons and artifacts.
Everyone will received a free copy of Lynette similar to how we got a free copy of Collei when Sumeru launched. Lynette might be the perfect character to get players accustomed to the new Ousia and Pneuma alignment system that patch 4.0 introduced.
Lynette is an Anemo DPS who is designed for on-field damage and can be a viable 4-star alternative to Shikanoin Heizou who fits into a similar role. In our build guide, we will explore gearing options for both on-field DPS and off-field support roles.
Genshin Impact Lynette - Build overview
Lynette’s ultimate has a summonable entity known as a Bogglecat Box. When the Bogglecat Box comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will gain the corresponding element and additionally fire Vivid Shots that will deal damage from that element at intervals. Elemental Absorption of this kind will only occur once during this ability duration. It also deals Anemo damage at intervals and taunts enemies which means that you get to trigger Swirl reactions off-field which can be particularly useful in Dendro teams.
Genshin Impact Lynette build - Best artifact set
Our build will maximize her Elemental Mastery and try to make her the core of Electrocharged or Hyperbloom teams. You want to use Viridescent Venerer if Lynette is the only Anemo character in the team while teams with Kazuha, Venti, or Sucrose should take advantage of the Gilded Dreams se to boost Lynette’s damage.
Viridescent Venerer
Two-Piece Bonus: Gain a 15% Anemo DMG Bonus.
Four-Piece Bonus: Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s.
Gilded Dreams
Two-Piece Bonus: Elemental Mastery +80
Four-Piece Bonus: Within 8s of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the character equipping this will obtain buffs based on the Elemental Type of the other party members, ATK is increased by 14% for each party member whose Elemental Type is the same as the equipping character, and Elemental Mastery is increased by 50 for every party member with a different Elemental Type. Each of the aforementioned buffs will count up to three characters. This effect can be triggered once every 8s. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.
Genshin Impact Lynette build - Best weapon
You want to take advantage of Lynette’s Swirl reactions and boost her reaction damage so we went for the popular Elemental Mastery picks.
Freedom-Sworn (Five-star)
Increases DMG by 10%. When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field.
When you possess two Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s.
Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.
Iron Sting (Four-star)
Dealing Elemental DMG increases all DMG by 6% for 6s. Max 2 stacks. Can only occur once every 1s.
