Wegotthiscovered.com has reported that sources close to them have noted that a featured film based on the events of the GTA series is in the works.
They also note that these sources are the same ones that told them about The Witcher TV series along with the rumored Resident Evil 4 remake.
WGTC stated the following:
"Say that the project is reportedly in the early stages and will loosely adapt the events of GTA V, presumably bringing us live-action versions of characters Michael, Franklin and Trevor"
Rockstar Testing in GTA Online - 26th September

Franklin Explains Why GTA 6 Is Taking So Long - 20th September
Shawn Fonteno who was the voice behind Franklin in GTA V, took to his Instagram to talk to fans about GTA 6.
Shawn noted the following:
"Don't knock Rockstar down, man. Don't be on them. I see their posts. Y'all be on Rockstar's head. Talking about, "y'all milking GTA 5... and when is 6 going coming out.' Y'all got to understand man, it's a process to put these games out,"

Las Venturas - 6th September
Reddit user u/thefaceofyourfather posted this incredible map concept over the weekend.
It is based on the Las Venturas concept and thefaceofyourfather had this to say regarding the map.
"After my Vice City map got so much attention here (thank you to everyone who suggested things to change/improve, I’m working on it) I wanted to try and recreate another fan favourite map in the same style. Due to a lot of people on here wanting a return to Las Venturas, I thought that would be a good choice."
"Starting with the main city I tried to recreate the style of Las Vegas as best I could. It’s much more of a grid-like system than Miami, and so that took some work to get everything uniform, but I think it looks good. The main strip has all the casinos/hotels as well as some Vegas landmarks that were in the original Las Venturas map. I wanted to make this city larger than my take on Vice City as in real life its twice the size of Miami, so it takes up a little more of the map as I’d have liked but theres still room on there for a natural surrounding with some cool landmarks."
'Couple Of Years Away' - 30th August
Twitter leaker Tom Henderson has noted the following when mentioning GTA 6 news.
Sony Wants GTA 6 To Be Timed Exclusive - 16th August

Liberty City Coming To GTA 5 Online? - 2nd August
A now-deleted Reddit post by user markothemexicam, but was fortunately captured by LADBible, appears to allude that the GTA 4 city will be making its way to GTA 5 soon.
The report claims the following:
"[My roommate] said that the new location is Liberty City," he explained. "Niko Bellic is coming back, with his voice talent Michael Hollick. The heist is about robbing gold reserves in Liberty City. Many freemode activities and Quick Jobs will be added to remastered Liberty City and future updates for PS5 will be based on Liberty City."
GTA 6 TO BE $69.99 - 19th July
Since it is pretty much guaranteed at this point that GTA 6 will release on the next-gen consoles in the next two or three years; fans have had some speculation regarding the price.
For those who do not know, Take Two interactive are the developers over the 2K series and the GTA franchise.
They made headlines in recent weeks with the announcement that their next-gen version of NBA 2K21 is going to cost $10 USD more then current-gen.
This all but confirms that GTA 6 is bound to be more expensive than the current retail price of games!
2023 Release Date? - 18th July
Reddit user u/IAnonymous2077I post a clever post that outlined a theory about GTA 6 releasing in 2023. Some of the main points they make are:
- "Reason 1) I’s confirmed that Take-Two will spend a minimum of 89 million dollars on marketing (twice the amount they normally spend) during an 12-month period ending on 31st March 2024.
- Reason 2) Rockstar two latest games had a release gap of 1866 days, apply that gap again for it’s latest release and Rockstar’s next title will lunch on Monday, December 4, 2023. This theory makes it possible that Grand Theft Auto 6 will lunch on a Friday, December 2, 2023."

Fan-Made GTA 6 Map Combines All Classic Locations - 16th July
A fan has created a GTA 6 map that contains all the classic locations from the previous games.
The map features Vice City, Liberty City, Los Santos and numerous other iconic locations.
This a GTA fans dream map and would take players on a nostalgic trip through GTA's history.
Although the map isn't a realistic expectation of what GTA 6 will bring, it's nonetheless an interesting idea.
Check out the map below:

Fans Want Separate Clothing Icons - 11th July
A Reddit post quickly gained popularity by user u/cmputerguy who noted that GTA 6 should have separate icons for each clothing store.
If you have played GTA V you know that each store has the same clothing icon, so it can be troublesome to find the right store.
Player's Want GTA Online Items To Carry Over - 5th July
According to a survey conducted by Inverse, which polled more than 6900 GTA Online players. 59 percent of them noted that their progress on GTA Online from the last seven years should carry over to GTA 6!
As of now, we do not know if Rockstar has any intentions in following suit with this, we will have to wait and see!
Giancarlo Esposito To Star As Lead Enemy? - 4th July
According to a report by tweaktown.com; the former Breaking Bad star recently conducted an interview with Collider.
In this interview Esposito stated the following:
"It's been my year, so to speak. It started with The Mandalorian, and then a video game I did which is going to be huge, that I can't really mention"
With his previous characters in film and TV, a role as a lead enemy in GTA 6 fits the mold!
Post Launch Maps
With so much talk going on regarding the setting of GTA 6, which many fans have pointed towards what will eventually be Vice City. One Reddit user had a theory of how they will support the game post-launch.
Reddit user u/BigDPuffin went on to explain that they could expand the map once the game is officially out.
"Initially Rockstar will release the game with LC and VC [which is indeed large by Rockstars standard, but is moderately sized compared to what they initially wanted to(USA)] Then every 2-3 years add a new city or even a state eventually creating the Grand Theft Auto."
Check out their full theory below!
Ex-Rockstar Games Developer States His Opinion on GTA 6 Release
Amid the outrage that has sparked with fans regarding GTA V being re-released on the PS5 next year, a former Rockstar Games developer has addressed why GTA 6 is not releasing first.
Taking to Tik Tok to answer these questions, he noted the following as bullet points during his Tik Tok:
"For a next gen system, developers may only get hardware a year or less before it launches"
"The cost of updating a game and making it prettier is way cheaper and easier than making a new one"
2022 Release?
When Sony announced an enhanced version of GTA V is coming to the Playstation 5, it was received rather poorly with fans. Now, news has surfaced via an official Playstation blog post that may allude to waiting at least a few more years for GTA 6.
This is what the blog post had to say regarding GTA V's release on the PS5.
"we are proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2021."
So, it is now highly unlikely that GTA 6 is coming within the next year, as this would not correlate with the re-release of GTA V.
Fans Not Happy Over Another GTA V Port
Since the announcement of GTA V making its way over to another console, fans of the series have let up with criticism towards Rockstar Games.
As of now, the amount of dislikes to likes it almost at a 2:1 ratio!
Leak Suggests GTA 6 Could Be Set In 1970/80s - July 3rd
A leak from JackOLantern1982 has suggested the latest Rockstar title could be based in 70s or 80s.
This is interesting as a lot of fans are questioning where the newest title will be set, however, not many are asking when.
A 70s or 80s setting would be a fresh look for the series.
This leak is not confirmed to be true, however, it does raise questions on when the title will be set.
GTA 6's Location Could Be Multiple Cities - July 2nd
A recent ScreenRant article has proposed the possibility that GTA 6 could be based across multiple cities rather than a single one.
A number of cities have been mentioned throughout the GTA universe that has not been explored.
The recently revealed capabilities of next-gen technology have shown it is possible to seamlessly transition between multiple worlds with no loading screens.
However, Rockstar has not confirmed a specific location for GTA 6
This would be an exciting addition to the features and gameplay.
More GTA V - 13th June
During the recent Playstation Future of Gaming event, one of the first announcements was that GTA V is going to be ported over to the PS5 in early 2021.
What this means for GTA 6 is still up in the air. Fans can hope all of Rockstar's attention hasn't been into porting GTA V over to another console but instead making the newest game.
GTA Online Gets A Big Change To Stop Griefers - 10th June
GTA Online fans will know all too well the pain of selling a custom car at Los Santos Customs only to be gunned down when leaving the store, and a Reddit post suggests that the game will now deposit cash for your personal vehicles directly into your bank account. That makes it nice and safe from would-be robbers!
Some fans have said that this change is actually from a few months ago, but in any case it's worth knowing!
Yan2295 Claims GTA 6 In Early Testing - 7th June
Well know Rockstar Games leaker Yan 2295 contradicted the report that surfaced a few weeks back. The report in question was the one noting that GTA 6 is still in early development stages and it will not release for at least a few years.
Yan2295 stated that the game is actually in "early stages of testing" rather than in development. It is hard now to believe Yan2295, as Rockstar Games themselves has asked him in the past to stop leaking information, so it is a pretty credible source.
GTA 5 Could Continue After GTA 6 Launches - 4th June
In an investor meeting, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two (Rockstar Games' parent company), commented on the potential for GTA 6 to exist alongside the current iteration.
“I am not remotely worried about being in a position that we have a great line of live services and a new release and that there’s somehow maybe some internal competition. That to me is the definition of a high-class problem" Zelnick stated.
New Possible Location For The GTA 6 Map - 2nd June
Rockstar Games are still yet to utter a word about their highly anticipated next addition to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, but that hasn't stopped die-hard fans from speculating about where the next game will be located.
Whilst no new information regarding the next Grand Theft Auto title has been shared, there's no doubt that the Map Location is one of the most important traits that the game features.
To date, every single GTA title has been set in American cities, apart from a couple of London based expansion packs. But, will Rockstar be breaking tradition and jumping ship to an international location? Well, that's what some fans now believe.
A rumour circulated around late last year suggesting that the next game will be based around two separate locations: Vice City and South America. Fans have come up with a concept name for the game, known as Grand Theft Auto: Project Americas. They've even come up with a possible plot.
There is speculation that the game will start off in Miami, but you'll be taking part in several missions in South America. Maybe even in multiple parts of the region. Some more recent rumours that have also emerged suggesting that a New city, based in Rio De Janeiro could also be featured in Rockstar Games next big title launch.
Of course, at this time, this is all just purely based on speculation. There have been no confirmed details regarding the next car stealing and convenience store robbing game, in the franchise.
Why not check out five more possible locations that could also be featured in GTA 6, by clicking here.
Hopefully, we'll soon receive the reveal we've all been waiting for.

We're not really sure what you can do once in the building, but the fact you can get in there is pretty cool itself.
Rumoured GTA 5 Will Be Free On PC Tomorrow - 13th May
Rumours are stating that GTA 5 will be the next free game on the Epic Games Store, meaning, once you've downloaded it, it's yours to keep!
Will Grand Theft Auto 6 Have Multiple Endings? - 11th May
Multiple endings are nothing new in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Will GTA 6 follow the suit of 4 and 5 or will it try something completely original? We take a look at the options here.
New GTA 6 Leak - 2nd May
In a Reddit post from an alleged former employee at Rockstar, we received a hefty amount of potential information on the next installment in the highly-anticipated franchise.
Four New Characters
A driver called Walther Wallace, a man named Thomas Branigan with a smuggling plane called "the Raven" and a drug dealer named Marcus Burke.
As well as a fourth unnamed 'former IDF agent'.
Combat
Gun mechanics and the the hand-to-hand combat system will be more like RDR2's.
Time and Location
Supposedly, the game will be set in the 1980s, and then, strangely, it will make a jump to modern times.
The map "will be larger than the GTA 5 and RDR2 maps combined".
Also, the game's map will be similar to the GTA San Andreas map, with three major cities and one smaller town.
Missions
According to the post, the missions won't be as linear as missions in RDR2 or GTA 5.

GTA 6 story is already finished, map will be ‘huge’ claims leaker - 23rd April
Here we go again, we've had leaks of the map being small, the same size and now huge. In addition to this the game has been reported to be in different stages by numerous 'leakers'.
But we hold out hope that one of these leaks will be the real deal!
Journalist Jason Schreier, who was behind the most recent report, stated that the game is still in ‘early development’ and that ‘the next GTA is still a ways away’, but other insiders seem to disagree.
Streamer Chris Liberty93, who is followed by Rockstar and predicted Dan Houser’s departure long before it happened, has stated that Schreier was wrong and that the map will be ‘huge’, with work beginning on GTA 6 in 2014.
According to Liberty93 the story for GTA 6 was already completed before Dan Houser left.
At least this leak comes from a reliable source, we'll just have to wait and see if Rockstar releases any official news in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned and bookmark this page for all of the latest news, leaks, rumours, and everything GTA 6 related!

Twitter and Reddit are currently flooded with players discussing the glitch and how easy it is to achieve.
The Fake GTA 6 Twitch Countdown Pranksters Come Clean - 12th April
Three friends got their hands on the GTAVI username on Twitch. This sparked an idea, where they wanted to create a logo for GTA 6 to trick people into thinking an announcement was on the way.
"If you're going to try and fool people, the most realistic thing Rockstar would do in that situation would not be a logo on a black screen with a rubbish countdown," Joe O'Shead explained. "They would big it up."
GTA fans were originally expecting an announcement for GTA 6 to take place on March 21, with a trailer expected to drop on March 25
The Twitch stream chat was torn between those who called it fake, and others defending the stream.
"I think people are so hopeful for a new game that they're willing to accept things a little bit more," Joe said.
"If they took a step back and asked themselves if it makes sense, they'd probably realise: it doesn't. They want the game so desperately that it's like a mild delusion."
The account was taken down 2 days before April fools day, due to Rockstar getting involved.

And now the channel simply has a message confirming that it was not showing a legit stream:
"Hello, thank you for tuning into our GTA VI project.
"This has been the product of multiple people with a shared love of the Grand Theft Auto series.
"We did not expect it to get this huge and we deeply apologise to Rockstar Games for misleading the dedicated fans who also love this series.
"We want to use this time to appreciate the series and also the incredible fans.
"Thank you for tuning in. We are sure GTA VI is in the works and we cannot wait."
Here We Go Again... Another Rumour - 1st April 23:00 BST
According to Intrepid Capital Funds, a compy that provides guidance on stocks - Take-Two is a great company to invest in at the moment, because it's going to be making a lot of money in the near future.
Why's that you ask? Because they predict that GTA 6 will release "shortly after" the launch of the Xbox Series X and PS5, which are currently scheduled to drop sometime this holiday season.
So, in other words, the most highly-anticipated next-gen game won't be a launch title, but it will show up shortly after.
As always, take the speculation with a HUGE pinch of salt. But hey, surely one of these rumours has to be right, why not a company that provides stock consultancy?

GTA 6 definitely won't be announced this week - 23rd March 20:00 GMT
GTA publisher Take-Two Interactive has already suggested that we won't be seeing GTA 6 anytime soon.
"That said, we haven't always been able to achieve our goal of having a strong frontline release schedule in every year, even in the recent past," Take-Two CEO, Strauss H. Zelnick, explained during the call.
"Given that we're a company that depends on our creative teams to make as close to perfect products as possible, we have to be willing to live with the vagaries of product deliveries. And that means, sometimes, we will have thin frontline years. But even in those frontline years, we've been able to deliver really great financial results."

Will all of the 80s style images cropping up from Rockstar, fans have been speculating a new GTA that transports us back to the 80s.
But new rumours suggest that it's something else.
The rumours come from an unusual source and revolve around a YouTube channel for LA Noire Part 2 which was autogenerated by YouTube itself.
YouTube creates channels automatically when it sees lots of videos on the same subject and in this case it seems to have found a host of 80s music tracks attributed to LA Noire Part 2 and licensed by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s owners.
GTA 6's "Project Americas" Leak Confirmed By GTA 5 Online? - 17th March 19:00 GMT
A portion of the new race track from "Height of Society" appears to be shaped like Florida and other parts of the path also seem to resemble Michigan and the Texas-Mexico border.
Imgur users tenet007 compared a birds-eye view of the GTA 5 track to a map of the US and admittedly there are similarities.
The most interesting part of this rumor is a cryptic message by a GTAForums leaker known as “gonnaenodaethat.”
User tenet007 also included a screenshot of the leaker dropping what looks to be a big hint to users in the discussion forum a day after the Height of Society update.
