The wait is almost over or, at least, we'd like to think so. Indeed, the newest chapter in the long-running Grand Theft Auto series has been announced and should be in our hands sometime soon. But what about the kind of PC we might need to run it? Well, let's look at the GTA 6 system requirements and find out.
GTA VI comes right after GTA V, which was released all the way in 2013, so this sixth chapter definitely was a long time coming. So much so that many joked that they were little more than children when five came out, and now, they're adults waiting for its upcoming release.
But enough jokes, we want to get serious and find out all about the GTA 6 system requirements. Keep reading to find out.
GTA 6 system requirements
Since the requirements haven't yet been officially announced, let's try to imagine what might be when the game will be released. Let's also keep in mind that we already know the game won't be released on PC at launch.
Minimum system requirements
- OS: Windows 11 (10 might also work)
- CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti or AMD Radeon RX5700XT
- Storage: 150GB Solid State Drive
But still, these might just be the minimum computer to at least run GTA 6, so instead, better look at the recommended requirements.
Recommended System Requirements
- OS: Windows 11 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K/AMD Ryzen 5 5900X
- Memory: 32GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT
- Storage: 150GB Solid State Drive
Clearly, these requirements will definitely exceed those of GTA 5, but still imagine that these are just temporary and we will update them as more info on the game will be made available.
While we wait, why not check out other guides on GTA such as what platforms will the game be released on and where the game will take place.
