GTA 3's Definitive Edition Is Streaming Only on PS Now

It's been nearly a month since GTA Trilogy's Definitive Edition was released and it's not been a smooth start. Since then, Rockstar's patched the game and individually released Grand Theft Auto III on PlayStation Now. However, that can't be downloaded and is only available via cloud streaming.

Offering players the PS4 version of GTA III - PS5 games have yet to be included on Sony's service - this wasn't previously mentioned during this month's PlayStation Blog post. It comes as a surprise, considering PS4 games can all be downloaded onto the console.

GTA Definitive Edition Is Currently Available For Stream Only In PS Now

Recently, a handful of updates were implemented by Rockstar Games, following some bugs and problems experienced by players. That included addressing stability issues, text errors and other 100 individual fixes between all three games.

GTA Trilogy - The Definitive Edition offers enhanced versions of GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas. That's out now digitally, with a physical release following on December 17th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version, however, will release in 2022.
