GTA Online Counterfeit Cash: Max Payout, Price, Locations and Upgrades

GTA Online is all about those fun criminal activities you can do in the game and not in real life, so if you’ve ever wanted to live out your movie villain fantasies of running a Meth Lab, this game is for you.

While we’re sure fans would rather kill random civilians and blow up a building or two, there is some gratification in making some money while you’re running a Nightclub or Arcade, so you can, theoretically, buy more weapons for your crazy ventures.

GTA Online Counterfeit Cash: Max Payout, Price, Locations and Upgrades

Though not the most profitable way to make money, Counterfeit Cash in GTA Online is one of the more solid ways of making some of that in-game currency.

Made available during the big Bikers update of the game, it’s a good way to make some money on the side, though, like all the other GTA Online businesses, you’ll have to spend cash to make cash.

First, here are the locations where you can make Counterfeit Cash in GTA Online and how much not-counterfeit money you’ll need to spend on them:

  • Grand Senora Desert ($845,000)
  • Paleto Bay ($951,600)
  • Cypress Flats ($1,267,500)
  • Vespucci Canals ($1,605,500)

Profit from the GTA Online Counterfeit Cash gig isn’t too bad, as you can make a solid $22,500 if you don’t upgrade your place of operations.

On the other hand, if you want to make all of that green and fully upgrade the Counterfeit Cash base of operations, players can get $47,625.

As usual, investing in a GTA Online business takes money so make sure you’re swimming in millions before working on the upgrades.

For equipment, you will need to spend $800,000, while the security will take $456,000, and getting more staff takes up $273,000 so good luck with that.

GTA Online, which comes with GTA 5, is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
