While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6’s eventual arrival, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.
For those returning to the game for the first time in a few years, this can mean grinding up money by blasting through heists and Nightclub sales missions with reckless abandon, but for those who’ve already bought everything they could ever want, it can simply involve trying to achieve the most memorable stunt possible.
This, it seems, is exactly what was going on between a few GTA veterans in order to produce a rather insane clip that’s currently blowing minds on Reddit.
Have you ever bagged a kill this memorable in GTA?
Said video is the subject of a thread in the GTA Online subreddit which began with a post by user Karma_Craft, who shared the clip, which features a player using an Up-n-Atomizer to launch a car driving right at them up into the air and then taking out the driver with a sniper rifle before the vehicle hits the ground, captioning it: “My friend gets absolutely outplayed”.
Many of their fellow players were amazed by the skills on display, with one user simply declaring: “That snipe is insane.” and Lycan223 adding: “(If) that happens to me I feel like I'm obligated just to uninstall the game at that point.”
User mentatsjunkie seemingly knows exactly how it feels to be on the receiving end of such a kill, revealing: “Some guy did this to me, but I was 100 feet in the air in my Scramjet absolutely barrel rolling out of control. Then he clipped it and sent it to me. I couldn't even be mad, it was sick.”
Others speculated as to which control scheme could allow such a shot to be made, with Miserable-Candle-893 concluding that the snipe was: “Definitely (made) on controller, mouse sniping is way smoother.”
However, a few users found it hard to believe that even the most skilled of GTA marksmen could make such a shot at the first time of asking, with Docta-Jay musing: “I'm not saying this is an aimbot. I'm saying this is so good it could be aimbot.”
Regardless of whether you think skill, luck or something else was most responsible for this improbable assassination, make sure to follow us for more GTA Online and GTA 6 updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
