While some are already focused on what might happen once GTA 6 gets a concrete release date, many GTA Online players are just trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.

Though some of the game’s recent weekly updates haven’t been received very positively by its hardcore players, many had hoped that the San Andreas Mercenaries update would help reinvigorate their passion for it.

Sadly, this definitely hasn’t proven the case so far, with the new content seemingly not doing enough to satisfy players or alleviate their frustration regarding vehicles being removed from in-game websites. If things weren’t bad enough, it also looks like the update’s arrival has coincided with the emergence of some pretty serious bugs.

Have you encountered any bugs while diving into GTA Online’s San Andreas Mercenaries update?

Details of these rather frustrating issues can be found in a thread by user PapaXan that’s currently pinned to the top of the subreddit r/gtaonline, which reveals: “A couple [of] really severe bugs have been identified since the Mercenaries DLC was released.”

There are four of these bugs in total, with two affecting the Mobile Operations Center added to the game in 2017’s Gunrunning update, while the others are compromising attempts to complete the Cayo Perico heist and, as of writing, none of them seem to have any widely-publicised workarounds.

While many players have been left frustrated by the act of calling in their MOC resetting all of the upgrades on it, not receiving the Cayo Perico loadout they’ve selected, and being left with no weapons at all upon restarting the heist following a death, the second MOC bug, which can see personal vehicles deleted if you request them after calling in the trailer, looks to be causing the most concern.

“This might be more serious than the other three, especially since [around] 30% of the [purchasable] vehicles were recently removed from the in-game websites,” argues user GaznaThePug, continuing: “You could potentially lose a vehicle that you can no longer [immediately] buy again, unless Rockstar Support helps with your case.”

PapaXan’s post urges players who encounter these bugs to open a ticket about their issue with Rockstar Support, which is definitely the right thing to do.

As of writing, the service hasn’t acknowledged the bugs or announced that it's working on any fixes for them via its social media accounts. If it does do so or delivers a quick fix, this article will be updated as soon as possible.

Update: It appears that all of these bugs have since been fixed via background updates to the game.
