While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
For example, some players who aren’t boycotting the game due to PC exploits, digging into the taxi work that Rockstar has recently added to it or cosplaying as Spiderman have been helping one of their brethren to plan the perfect practical joke to play on a friend.
Have you ever played a prank like this on a friend who’s new to GTA?
This light-hearted lark forms the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from the would-be prankster, user ItsAMeLirio, who kicked this off by asking: “(I’ve) convinced a friend to try the game, I want our very first meeting to be memorable and (for me to) appear with the stupidest vehicle possible, what would it be?”
A number of their fellow criminals were quick to chuck out the keys to a range of zany automobiles, with user marcaveli073 declaring: “Get the Cheburek and put the cardboard attachments on it.”, Ishidacorp opting for: “(The) Faggio Mod. With all extra mirrors and antennas.” and KG8893 nominating: “The RUNE Zhaba. It's ridiculous and completely pointless, and it also utterly fails at doing just about anything you'd think it would be good at.”
On the other hand, some users went for more heavy-duty vehicles, with champion_- recommending: “The Dump, even though half of the spawns don’t let you exit in the street because it’s too big, it's worth finding a good one.”
Similarly, user a_fiendish_thingy advocated for: “(The) Party Bus.”, adding: “I love my Party Bus. Just make sure you don’t summon it while you’re near the casino, it’ll spawn on the track and you won’t be able to leave.”
Meanwhile, user One-Mycologist-6001 set a surprising encounter on the sand, saying: “Tell him to meet you on the beach and then drive the Kosatka onto land as far as it’ll go.”, with the wonderfully named Onthetoilet_420 adding: “Go off (of the) radar and pull out of the ocean right up to him.”
