Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released later today on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Despite being available on almost every current-gen gaming platform, PlayStation users will have more reason to celebrate the game’s release as it is free to PS Plus subscribers at launch.
Taking a much more immersive and deeper look at the Harry Potter game called Quidditch, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will let players experience Quidditch like never before.
Players can customize their characters, choose which Quidditch role they want, and obtain various brooms as they embark on a journey to become the Quidditch World Cup Champion. PlayStation players subscribed to at least a PS Plus Essential subscription can play the game for no additional cost until Tuesday, October 1; then, players will have to purchase their copy of the game to continue playing.

PS Plus Essential offers the basic functionality of PS Plus, including online multiplayer. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions offers in-depth multiplayer modes that can greatly benefit from PS Plus’ services and functionality. For Xbox and PC players, there isn’t any confirmation yet whether the game will come to Game Pass. Nintendo Switch players will have to wait longer for Warner Bros. Games to announce the release date.
On top of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, PS Plus subscribers can access two other games: MLB The Show 24 and the critically acclaimed side-scrolling horror adventure game Little Nightmares II.
