Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released on September 3, 2024, on all available platforms and storefronts. However, Warner Bros. Games has yet to confirm the game’s Nintendo Switch release date.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Gameplay and Trailer

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions showcased several trailers featuring classic Quidditch gameplay. This included player customization options and the sport's mechanics.

Players will have to control their own characters, contrary to the usual sports video games, where players usually have to control an entire team. However, they will have to manage a full roster of players in their chosen team.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will let players choose their Quidditch roles between Chaser, Seeker, Beater, and Keeper. The game will also feature different schools of the wizarding world aside from Hogwarts such as the Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.

For balance reasons, capturing the Snitch in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions does not net the capturing team 150 points which automatically wins the match just like in the books, but rather Seekers who capture the Snitch will net their team only 30 points. The first team to reach 100 points wins the match.

Players can also upgrade their characters as they progress through various matches and games in Career Mode. Broom choice will also make a huge difference in gameplay, as brooms will also have different stats based on their manufacturer.

While the game heavily focuses on multiplayer with its various multiplayer modes, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will not have microtransactions. The game will have seasons and events focusing on PvP and multiplayer modes.
