Hitman 3 picks up where its predecessors left off, including discoverable 'Mission Stories' to help guide players and provoke experimentation.
These can lead to bespoke encounters with targets, but early previews suggested that there would be fewer to be found in Hitman 3 – but as it turns out, there are plenty of hidden ones, too.
Hitman 3: Secret Mission Stories and Hidden Kills Confirmed By Dev
In a wide-ranging interview we conducted with the development team, executive producer Forest Swartout Large teased plenty for players to uncover.
"I think for me, we're releasing on so many platforms at once, it'll be just a relief to validate that it actually works with real players and not just for us and first-party testers,” Large jokes.
“But then I think beyond ‘how is the ending’, we have so many hidden kills and so many hidden mission stories. I'm really curious to see which ones surface first and which ones the community gets excited about."
"There are some that are quite deep, quite expansive, but they're fairly hidden. So I'm curious to see how long it’ll take to find them”, she adds.
That's bound to be music to the ears of the franchise's community, with both Hitman and Hitman 2 also offering mission stories that aren't shown within the game's menu.
