Honkai Star Rail Clara Build (May 2023) - Best light cones, relics, and abilities

With the right Honkai Star Rail Clara build, the mech-equipped character proves to be a very tanky Physical DPS. She offers consistent damage output that makes her one of the best characters to use in lengthier fights of attrition. If you are going up against enemies that have multiple phases and a high health pool, she's a must-have.

Clara summons her mech Svarog to deal massive damage to multiple enemies and she can absorb most hits even from the toughest of foes. To maximize Clara’s utility you want to improve her tanking capabilities as well as her damage.

Best light cone for Clara

Clara’s signature light cone is called Something Irreplaceable and is one of the best light cones in the entire game. The light cone boosts your attack and it also restores HP every time Clara is hit or she defeats an enemy, giving her unparalleled sustain in longer fights. If you do not have the five-star light cone, you can go for Nowhere to Run or Collapsing Sky, both of which are great options to use.

Something Irreplaceable: Increases the wearer's ATK by 24%. When the wearer defeats an enemy or is hit, immediately restores HP equal to 8% of the wearer's ATK. At the same time, the wearer's DMG increases by 24% until the end of their next turn. This effect cannot stack and can only trigger 1 time per turn.

Nowhere to Run: Increases the wearer's ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK.

Collapsing Sky: Increases the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG by 20%.

Best relics for Clara

The best relic set for Clara is undoubtedly the Champion of Streetwise Boxing. It is the only relic set in the game that focuses on Physical damage bonuses. A more generalist alternative would be the Musketeer of Wild Wheat set which increases Clara’s attack and speed, and you can give the relic set to any other DPS when you are not using Clara. Fleet of the Ageless is also an excellent choice as it boosts Clara’s maximum HP and attack, making her lean more into her tank role.

Champion of Streetwise Boxing

  • 2-Piece Bonus: Increases Physical DMG by 10%.
  • 4-Piece Bonus: After the wearer attacks or is hit, their ATK increases by 5% for the rest of the battle. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

Fleet of the Ageless

  • 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies' ATK increases by 8%.

Musketeer of Wild Wheat

  • 2-Piece Bonus: ATK increases by 10%.
  • 4-Piece Bonus: The wearer's SPD increases by 6% and Basic ATK DMG increases by 10%.
