How Much GB Does Warzone Take Up?

Call of Duty: Warzone continues to be one of the more celebrated free-to-play shooters around, especially since it gets content from both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War, with a huge possibility that it will have more updates to be in-line with COD 2021.

The game is a lot of fun and would be an easy recommendation to anyone who likes first-person shooters or battle royale games but there’s something holding it back, and no, it’s not the microtransactions.

How Much GB Does Warzone Take Up?

It doesn’t matter if you’re on PC, PS4, or Xbox One, as the Warzone GB will eat up so much of your space that one can’t help but laugh at how big Activision keeps making this game.

On PC, Warzone is a whopping 175 GB, while the shooter is about 100 GB on both PS4 and Xbox One.

Players that are playing the game through Modern Warfare have even more to go through, as this will result in 250 GB on PC and 150 GB for PS4 and Xbox One.

Defenders of the game will probably argue that Warzone takes up so much space because it can hold a ton of players and looks great as well, which is no easy task.

The fact that it’s also a part of Modern Warfare for some players means that Activision has to update two games to make sure that players just using Warzone can play with those playing Warzone through Modern Warfare.

Sad thing is, if Warzone ends up getting some content from COD 2021, that means there’s a chance that the game’s GB could be even bigger by the year’s end.

To be honest, it’s quite preposterous and we wish that Activision would do something about that issue, though there are a section of fans who think that the devs are making the game bigger so players won’t have room for other games.

Anyway, Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play title available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
