How to beat Croco in Super Mario RPG - first fight
Overall, we would say that the first time you face Croco, in Bandit's Way, it will be an average boss fight in Super Mario RPG, so you wouldn't have to worry that much.
He has 320 HP and he's weak to the following:
- Fire
- Fear
- Poison
- Mute
Continue attacking, especially using the Fireball ability (a level 3 attack which you should already have by this point) and you should be done and be home in time for your spaghetti dinner. But, wait there is a second boss fight.
How to beat Croco in the second fight
Well, there he is again. This time, Croco brings with him 720 HP, so it will take quite a bit more to take him down. But he's weak to the same attacks as before, so fireball should definitely do the trick.
Beware though. He has a strong attack, the so-called Monster Toss, which does deal somewhat significant damage (around 20 HP). Try to defend yourself as much as possible and continue throwing your fireballs, you should be done relatively quickly.
