When it comes to errors, bugs, and glitches, Warzone has had its fair share of them since the battle royale released back in March 2020. With Season 1 Reloaded for Warzone Pacific officially underway, players are starting to encounter the Savannah Error code once again, much to their annoyance.
Thankfully, there are some handy workarounds that can get you back into the action in no time at all. With that said, here's how to fix the Warzone Savannah error.

Savannah Error Modern Warfare and Warzone
As seen in the image above, the error code reads "Unable to join game session, the host cannot be joined or game play has paused. Status: SAVANNAH".
The error frequently appears when players attempt to connect to a friend's online session and is one of the more infuriating issues that players have come across.

How To Fix Savannah Error Code
There are a few ways to fix the error depending on the platform.
For PC players, ensure that you're running the latest version of Warzone or Modern Warfare and all updates have been successfully installed. This should rectify the issue, allowing you to join lobbies or parties with friends.
If that doesn't work, head into the Modern Warfare install folder and select the "main" folder.
Delete the files pictured below:
Once deleted, head into the Battle.net options for the game and select "Scan and Repair."
PlayStation
For PlayStation users encountering the error, highlight the game tile and select 'Check for Updates'. If the game is up to date, the error shouldn't appear.
Xbox
Xbox players should try to uninstall the reserved data which should cause the game to update itself. With a fresh update installed, the Savannah error code should disappear altogether.
