Fans of the original Call of Duty Zombies experience will be delighted to learn that the fan-favourite swamp map, Shi No Numa, has returned. In the latest season of Vanguard, the iconic map from World at War is now playable as part of the Mercenaries of Fortune event. Of course, there's one thing old-school players want to do on the remastered map: get the Wunderwaffe DG2 Wonder Weapon.

In this Call of Duty: Vanguard guide, we'll explain how to get the Wunderwaffe DG2 Wonder Weapon in Shi No Numa Zombies. It's a different process to the World at War original, so strap in for a much more complex process. How Do I Get Wunderwaffe DG2 Wonder Weapon in Shi No Numa Vanguard Zombies?

As hinted at, the process for getting the Wunderrwaffe DG2 in Vanguard is different to that in World at War. In that game, the only way to get it was rolling the Mystery Box, hoping you'd get lucky. Vanguard has a guaranteed way to get the weapon, requiring you to collect three separate parts and compile them using a blueprint.

There are three individual Wunderwaffe DG2 parts across Shi No Numa in Vanguard: the weapon barrel, vacuum tube, and fuse. Each is located in a different point on the map, and requires a ritual to switch on, ready for use.

Part 1 - Weapon Barrel

First up is the weapon barrel. You'll find it on a shelf in the Fishing Hut, so browse around the various levels until you find an item pickup prompt. Once you've got it, take the barrel to the Comm Room Exterior, where you'll see a green electrical box to place it in.

That will power up the barrel over a period of time, during which you'll need to hold off hordes of zombies. When it'sn charged up, you can collect it again and get to work on the second part.

Part 2 - Vacuum Tube

That is the vacuum tube, which you can find within a radio inside the Comm Room, thankfully quite close to where you were before. Once you have it though, things get complicated.

You need to wait for the mini boss Zaballa to spawn in, and then lead it to the Excavation Room. It will fire energy projectiles, which you need to angle at the energy coil within that room, so position yourself accordingly. Do it for long enough, and the vacuum tube will be charged up.

Part 3: Fuse

The last Wunderwaffe DG2 part is the fuse, which can also be found on a table in the Comm Room. Take it over to the Storage Hut, activate the electrical trap, then place the fuse in there once the option comes up. It'll then charge up the fuse, meaning you'll have to hold off oncoming zombies in the meantime.

With all the parts collected and prepared, go over to the Storage Hut, and the workbench adorned by a blueprint of the Wunderwaffe DG2. Hold down the interact button to place all the items there, and you'll have the Wunderwaffe ready for you. It's no quick process, but the incredible power of the electric weapon is more than worth the hassle!
