Halo Infinite: How To Unmute Myself
There are several solutions you can undertake.
Change Audio Settings
Your mic may not be on the correct preference to project inputted audio. To do this:
- Go to 'Settings'.
- Select 'Audio'.
- Find 'Voice Chat Mode'.
- Set the option to 'Open Mic'.
This should change allow you to speak to your squad in-game, not just through parties.
Hard Restart Your Xbox
If you're playing on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One, try and restart the Xbox directly from the button. Hold down your Xbox power button for several seconds until it switches off. Wait at least a minute before booting it up again.
Change Headsets For Comparison
Connect an alternate headset or earbuds to your system and see if this issue continues. If you are unmuted while using the new connected device, there could be a fault with your original headset.
343 Industries might release a patch for this issue soon, but we'll update this page if this becomes available. News also leaked last week claiming that the cyber-shooter is also working on a battle royale mode.
