The fun part of Infinity Nikki is designing outfits and accessories, but you’ll need to gather the right materials to bring them to life.
Many people choose Pony Curls because of their smooth texture and versatility. This article explains how to obtain and use Pony Curls in your designs.
How To Get Pony Curls
If you want to make new Infinity Nikki outfits, you’ll need some Pony Curls.
You can find these silky strands by grooming Noble Ponies, which graze in specific places across the world.
The first thing you'll need is the Bye-Bye Dust Ability Outfit, which helps you approach animals without scaring them off.
This outfit is usually acquired early in the game as part of the first main quest, so most players will already have it in their wardrobe.
If you haven't unlocked it yet, prioritize doing so. Acquiring other materials, such as Floof Yarn, is also essential.
When you’re ready to search for Noble Ponies, head to Breezy Meadow, a lush area where these animals can be found.
There are two main locations where Noble Ponies are commonly spotted.
The first field is right by the river, northwest of the Lakeside Hill Lane Warp Spire.
The second field is southwest of the Swan Gazebo, near Meadow Wharf.
Both areas are located south of Florawish, so you won’t have to travel too far to reach them.
While you're around, see if you can spot any groups of horses. The smaller ponies in the bunch are the ones you're after.
It's best to approach Noble Ponies gently, as they are naturally skittish. To get started, equip the Bye-Bye Dust Ability Outfit and activate its grooming ability.
Use the Sneak command to move closer to the pony without scaring it away. Once you’re close enough, a brush icon will appear above the animal.
Release the Sneak command at this point to begin grooming the pony and collect your Pony Curl reward.
While gathering Pony Curls, you may also encounter larger horses in the same areas.
These horses drop a similar crafting material, Stallion Locks, which can be useful for other crafting recipes.
Collecting both types of materials in one trip can save time.
If you want an easier way to keep track of Noble Ponies, the Collection Tracker is available on the in-game map.
Open the map and look for the notebook icon in the bottom left. Go to the Paw Print tab and select Pony Curls as your target.
Turning on the tracker will show you where Noble Ponies might be. The more Pony Curls you get, the more you unlock Precise Tracking.
If you're pressed for time and need Pony Curls without searching for Noble Ponies, you can buy them from the Resonance Exchange Shop in the in-game store.
Each Pony Curl is priced at one Surging Ebb, with a cap of 10 Pony Curls each month.
Though quick and easy, it's better suited as a backup when time or resources are limited.
