CD Projekt has reached a settlement with investors who'd sued over Cyberpunk 2077's controversial launch last year. Following news that CD Projekt Red had opened up negotiations with disgruntled investors last week, they've agreed to a $1.85m USD fee.
As noted by VGC, a report issued earlier today confirms that the Polish publisher will pay out the plaintiffs, stating:
According to the Term Sheet, members of the class (including the plaintiffs) shall relinquish any and all claims against the Company and members of its Management Board. In return, a settlement in the amount of $1,850,000 USD shall be paid out to the class by the Company and its insurer.

It's a surprisingly small payment compared to Cyberpunk 2077's sales. Despite controversy surrounding its launch state on last-gen consoles, CD Projekt's latest RPG made $563 million in the launch month alone, which greatly exceeded the $51.2m paid back during the subsequent refund scheme.
Elsewhere in Cyberpunk 2077 news, starring actor Keanu Reeves made headlines recently after confirming he's never played the game, despite CDPR's previous assurances. We're currently awaiting details for the upcoming update 1.4 patch, and we'll keep you informed when news comes in.
