Throughout the short history of Warzone, players have experienced a variety of game-breaking bugs and glitches impacting their matches. In previous seasons, issues causing Operators to turn invisible made the battle royale almost impossible to play.
Thanks to regular updates from Raven Software, the amount of problems continues to drop. With Season 4 Reloaded on the horizon, many are hoping the next update will spice up the Season 4 meta currently dominated by the NZ-41.
Although the developer continues to apply fixes, several players are encountering opponents that are impossible to eliminate thanks to a potential glitch or a new hack that's hit the market.
Warzone Invincibility Glitch Returns
In a bid to shed light on the issue, Warzone content creator TrickyRick showcases the exploit in action. During a Caldera match, the streamer lands accurate shots onto a nearby opponent but no hitmarkers appear.
To deal the final dose of damage, they manage to position themselves behind the unkillable player to perform a Finishing Move. Rather than the action guaranteeing another kill to their tally, the opponent gets back to their feet and kills the streamer much to their annoyance.
Aptly captioned "I'm going to lose it," the July 16 tweet quickly caught the attention of the Warzone community. One player says the potential of running into an invincible player is "sad and depressing" while another says the number of issues impacting the battle royale is "unacceptable.
Others are unsure if a glitch is to blame. There's a chance invincible players are part of hacking software giving some a hugely unfair advantage on Caldera, Fortune's Keep, and Rebirth Island.
Whether it's a glitch or a new hack, there's a high chance Raven Software and Ricochet are working on a fix in order to prevent the issue from affecting even more players.
