The Season 2 Reloaded update for Warzone added plenty of new features alongside some game-changing items that made a return to the battle royale. Alongside Weapon Trade Stations and Communications Towers, the Juggernaut Killstreak made an appearance, much to the annoyance of players.
The community was quick to request the removal of the Killstreak due to its overpowered nature. Rather than removing them altogether, Raven Software has taken an alternative approach.
Instead of sending the Juggernaut packing, the developer has changed the spawn rate as part of Warzone's March 25 update.
Warzone Juggernaut Nerf
The small update to the game addressed a few issues including a reduction in how often a set of Juggernaut armour would appear over the course of a match. Raven Software says it's "reduced the chances" of a Juggernaut Public Event taking place during a Rebirth Island match.
In addition, the Warzone developer made changes to the strength of spawn protection when players are near to touching the ground and reduced the spawn rate of Gas Canisters across the island.
Will Juggernauts Be Removed From Warzone?
Although Juggernauts won't appear as often, There are many players that still want the Killstreak removed altogether. If the demand for its removal continues, there's every chance Raven Software will intervene and prevent Juggernauts from interfering with those dropping onto Rebirth Island. Until then, its appearance will become a rare occurrence during matches.
