Where to find Bright Core in LEGO Fortnite
Bright Core is a key resource for progression, so of course it is very far from your spawn point. Bright Core is only generated in Lava Caves. At the same time, these caves can be found in the desert biome. It will spawn randomly for each world, so it may take a while.
The easiest way to find the desert is to inspect the area from a high position. Climb the nearby hill and look around. Having found a snowy biome with high mountains, go in any other direction. This way, you will quickly find the desired biome. Due to its deserted landscape, it doesn't take long to find the Lava Cave entrances. But survival there is a real challenge.
How to Mine Bright Core in LEGO Fortnite
If you come to the desert biome unprepared, your character will die within minutes. As befits this biome, it is quite hot, but it doesn't compare to Lava Caves, where you don't have to jump into the lava to get fried. Therefore, you need to gain heat resistance.
The first and easiest option is food that can temporarily increase your resistance. For example, Snow Berry gives heat resistance for 2 minutes, although we recommend taking a little more time and preparing a Snowberry Shake that lasts for 10 minutes.
The second option is equipment with appropriate resistance, such as Cool-Headed Charm. It increases your heat resistance less than food but lasts as long as you wear it. In addition, the effect can stack, so by wearing a few such Charms you will forget about the problem of high temperature.
After this, you must take with you the necessary tool, the Rare Pickaxe. To craft it you will need Flexwood Rods and Sand Claws. But be careful, as this ore often spawns right above lava pools. Of course, you won't die from a couple of steps on the lava, but it will cost you a heart.
What is the Bright Core used for in LEGO Fortnite?
Bright Core is one of the required resources for Metal Smelter, which will help you craft various Bars. In addition, Bright Core is needed to smelt some ores:
