Lego Fortnite Farm Friends Patch Notes

Just by looking at the name of this update, we can take a guess at what’s included in this patch. So, let’s go ahead and get into the details behind the Lego Fortnite Farm Friends update.

Farm Friends

The main draw of this update is the ability to recruit animals to your village in order to start a farm. Recruitable animals include cows, sheep, chickens, and pigs. Pigs are new to Lego Fortnite while cows and chickens will get variants sporting new colours and patterns.

To accommodate these animals, the village recruitment cap will be increased to ten. Three of these slots will be available for Villagers, another three for animals, and the remaining four can be used for either Villagers or animals.

New Resources

Now that players can start a farm in Lego Fortnite, they’ll be able to produce some new resources. The type of items you can obtain will depend on what animals you’ve recruited to your village. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can get from each animal.

  • Chickens – Feathers and Fertilizer
  • Cows – Milk and Fertilizer
  • Sheep – Wool and Fertilizer
  • Pigs – Mushrooms and Fertilizer

New Villagers

Animals won’t be the only new faces you’ll see in this patch. Five new Villagers have also found their way to Lego Fortnite. Here’s a list of new Villagers and a brief description of each one.

  • Ash – wild about plants
  • Brooks – all about channelling nature’s beat
  • Cadence – a master woodworker
  • Lana Llane – a bright and cheerful engineer
  • Guernsey – one-of-a-kind

Beware the Bear

With the addition of Farm Friends also comes some feral foes. Not all the new creatures in this update will be friendly, as bears will be a new hostile animal that you can encounter out in the wild.

Bears in Lego Fortnite are sensitive to sound, so be sure to keep quiet if you see one while you’re out exploring.

Anarchy Acres Bundle

A new bundle is available from the Fortnite Shop for 800 V-Bucks. Here’s what it includes:

  • Fully Furnished Farm – Lego kit with three builds, the Homestead Interior Decors Bundle, and Rural Hospitality Décor Bundle. This kit costs 600 V-Bucks when bought individually.
  • Farmer’s Favorites – Lego Decor Bundle that has nine Decor items. This bundle costs 400 V-Bucks on its own.

Other Adjustments and Bug Fixes

  • Revamped Village Square UI to let you monitor your Village better.
  • Fixed issue where stamina would be enabled in worlds that have it turned off.
  • Fixed sapling issue where they couldn’t be destroyed when growing near other objects.
  • Fixed issue that prevented Swords from doing damage.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the first attack from Swords to miss.
  • Fixed issue where Pickaxes would stop doing damage to certain objects.
  • Villagers will no longer disturb players when regenerating Health.
  • Fixed issue where starting a sneak while sprinting will cause players to get stuck in sprint.
