Discovering how to obtain fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite is crucial for growing and maintaining crops.
If you're playing LEGO Fortnite, you'll soon want to become self-sufficient. To do this, you'll want to create a steady supply of food, which you can best do by creating a farm.
In order to start a farm in LEGO Fortnite, you'll want to get your hands on a couple of different items and resources. The most important of these are soil and fertilizer. If you have these resources, you can start making some garden beds and planting seeds in them. Here's how to get Fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite.
But before that, if you're looking to start a farm in LEGO Fortnite, you'll want to read about how to pet animals in the game. Also, check out our guide on how to get Wheat and Flour in LEGO Fortnite.
How to get Fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite
The first step to finding yourself some Fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite is to locate some animals. In doing this, you're in luck because regardless of where you start your journey in the game, you're bound to find at least a few animals nearby.
You could also find several animals of one type in an area, whether that means multiple cows, sheep, or chickens all couped up together. When searching animals, you'll have more success looking in grasslands.
Once you've located a few animals, you're all set for stage two. This is when you wait. And you wait. And wait just a little more. Then, you'll see it: one of the animals will finally drop some Fertilizer, or, in simpler terms, poop. And all you have to do once this happens is head on over and pick it up. Don't worry, it won't bite.
If they're not already grazing or feeding on something when you find them, you can speed up the process of having the animals drop Fertilizer by giving them something to eat.
Alternatively, you can also get Fertilizer if you've recruited Villagers to work a resource collection job. They'll head on around to various biomes and collect useful resources for you. If you're lucky, they could get you some of that Fertilizer you're looking for.
Use the Fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite
After finding fertilizer, you can start creating a garden plot. Find the garden plot on the Utility tab at the bottom of the build menu. You can get soil by digging anywhere using a shovel. Once you're done making the garden plot, you can start planting seeds. You can get seeds by searching chests while you explore. You can also make them using a grain mill by combining 20 knotwood rods, 20 granite slabs, and 3 shells with any fruit or vegetable.
After planting seeds, water the plant daily and wait for them to grow your own food.
