Looking for the list of all biomes and locations in the LEGO Fortnite map? Just last week, Fortnite introduced its new survival adventure spin-off where players can craft, cook, and fight scary monsters across various sorts of terrain. In this guide, we will take you through the LEGO Fortnite map biomes, locations, and more.
The layout for the map that you spawn in is crafted by procedural generation, so no two maps are the same unless you use the same seed. However, each map should have all the biomes available, so that players can access the different types of items native to each area.

All biomes and locations in the LEGO Fortnite map
When you spawn in on a LEGO Fortnite map, it's on the Grasslands biome. It's a safe area when you compare it to the rest of the biomes, as there are lots of peaceful creatures and only a few monsters. As you explore the surroundings, you'll come across the rest of the biomes.
Biomes host diverse creatures, but you won't be able to see them immediately. Unexplored regions are obscured by a blue fog, gradually unveiled as you make your way across the map. Thus, the map's panning capability is limited from your present location.
If you'd like to know more about each biome in the LEGO Fortnite map, here is the list of biomes including where to find them and the monsters you'll fight:
- Grasslands: The starting biome has a terrain of green grass, featuring plenty of resources and almost no enemies in the daytime. You might come across some Spiders, Stone Rollers, and Wolves at night.
- Shores: Found near large bodies of water, these compact areas host Hermit Crabs, Sand Rollers, and Brutes. The terrain is sandy, and almost golden-like in the daytime.
- Dry Valley: This is the desert biome where overheating occurs during the daytime, so you'll need some special foods to keep yourself cool. Characterised by red sand, it's difficult to look for this biome from afar. In this biome, you'll find plenty of materials, but also aggressive Sand Rollers, Scorpions, Spiders, Wolves, and Brutes.
- Frostlands: The Frostlands are the polar opposite of Dry Valleys, where you'll need cold-resistant protection. You can usually find it next to the Grasslands area. Torches offer partial frost protection, but for complete insulation, you'll need fire charms and spicy peppers or burgers. This is the home of Frost Rollers, Scorpions, Spiders, Wolves, and Brutes.
- Caves: Found in the Grasslands, Dry Valley, and Frostlands biomes, each cave type is marked by large rock entrances. They run pretty deep underground, but you won't be able to access your map here. You'll find lava caves in Dry Valleys which have Blasters trying to attack you.
