LEGO Fortnite is barely a week old and players are already pushing the legalities of this unique mode in the free-to-play shooter. While building things would be pretty normal in most LEGO media, seeing players make the World Trade Centre just to blow it up is pushing it.

Twitter user seb posted a horrifying clip of players creating and blowing up the two towers, something most people don’t need to relive. This was during the game’s first day, showing just how messed up these players are.

Dark jokes have their time and place, usually amongst friends in a private setting, but seeing this in LEGO Fortnite of all things is pretty gross. It’s not yet known if Epic Games will be suspending the players who did this, but we wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being the case.

When this LEGO variant of the popular free-to-play shooter was revealed, most assumed that it would be played by children more. Granted, adults do like LEGO so they were bound to try this game out, but this is just a gross thing to see, no matter the game.

Ironically, Epic Games introduced age restrictions for certain outfits in Fortnite, something that won’t be needed for LEGO Fortnite. However, actions like this are much harder to properly ban, since telling players “you can’t build this” can be seen as restrictive. Still, these actions are pretty disrespectful and these accounts could end up getting banned.

Considering how kid-friendly the LEGO franchise tends to be, we wouldn’t be shocked to see even more morbid content in the coming weeks or months. However, it’s going to be tough topping this one, since very few events can be recreated in such a disrespectful manner. Let’s hope future players don’t bother trying to do this.
