Merciless Melee ability in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - How to unlock
To get the Merciless Melee ability, you need to complete substory #43, "A Man Named Asakura."
You can start this side quest during Chapter 4. It simply involves you taking on Asakura, an NPC mini-boss you first encounter pretty early on in the game before you arrive in Hawaii.
How to use the Merciless Melee ability
The best thing about the Merciless Melee skill is that it can be used regardless of what job Kasuga is currently on, making it a great extra tool to have at your disposal.
It does heavy damage to a single enemy and has the Grapple property, meaning it's perfect to guard break enemies that are blocking regular and magic attacks.
The only downside of the skill is that it's a relatively expensive one, costing 30 MP, so if you get Merciless Melee early on you might not get much use out of it, but as you progress, you might find it really handy.
