Now that the latest Ni No Kuni adventure is here, players are getting into the nitty-gritty of character builds and Familiar set-ups. To help with this, here is a guide on how to log out of Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds and swap characters.
Being an online game, and a gacha one at that, some players may want to run different accounts for different experiences or to try out other builds. There's also a wide variety of Familiars to equip, with elemental abilities and defensive, support, or attack stats.
We have tons more Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds pages to help you out on your adventures - here's our tier list of Familiars, a guide to the characters' classes, and codes for freebies in the game.
How To Log Out Of Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds
On the PC Client, logging out of Cross Worlds is simple. Navigate to the settings menu, and then Account. You'll see the screen above. Hit Log Out, and you'll be taken back to the home screen, and will need to log in with either the same or a different account.
On the other hand, logging out of Ni No Kuni on the mobile version completely - in our Android experience, at least - can be a little tricky. If you head to Account settings and click the Log Out button, it doesn't do much. It takes you back to the title screen, but the same server you're already in is there, and if you tap the screen, it takes you to character choice. So far there doesn't seem to be an easy way of actually swapping between accounts.
How To Swap Characters On PC And Mobile
Each of the five classed characters in Ni No Kuni act as a different save. This means you can have five slightly altered experiences based on the characters' weaponry and abilities, without having to start a new account. However, you will need to start the story from the beginning with each one. The auto-play may come in handy here...
To easily swap between them, you'll need to head to the same screen as you would to Log Out. On the PC Client, hitting Select Character will take you to the selection screen, without needing to log in again. On mobile devices, it works exactly the same.
