Infinity Ward Reveals Modern Warfare 2 Logo

It's official. After months of teasers and speculation, Infinity Ward confirms Call of Duty 2022 is Modern Warfare 2. The build-up to 2019's sequel is well underway much to the excitement of the community.

Following a cryptic social media blackout all but confirming the return of Ghost, the developer has showcased the very first look at a brand-new logo for its upcoming release.

Contrary to reports stating that the logo would feature a blue colour palate, a short teaser sees the return of the green synonymous with the Modern Warfare series in addition to some hidden teasers.

Modern Warfare 2 Logo Revealed

On April 28, the Call of Duty Twitter account shared the logo with the world. In addition, eagle-eyed players have already found coordinates embedded within the trailer alongside a brief glimpse of the legendary Task Force 141 badge.

The coordinates within the trailer lead to Singapore's Marina Bay, home of the country's Formula One race. With a large hotel overlooking the area, is Singapore going to play host to a part of the single-player campaign?

Current information on the campaign says Task Force 141 will do battle against Columbian drug cartels but as with all leaks, take them with a pinch of salt until further information emerges.

Modern Warfare 2 Reveal Date

Despite some reports claiming that a full-scale reveal for Modern Warfare 2 would take place at the end of April, the reveal will now take place at the end of May.

In the run-up to the rumoured reveal date, we can expect more teasers and short videos to appear. Who knows what fans will uncover about the latest Infinity Ward blockbuster.
