Marvel Rivals is more about intense gameplay, but there's room to have fun and showcase your unique style.
Emotes are a fun way to show yourself in-game, whether celebrating a win, messing with your opponents, or chilling with your team.
This article will walk you through how to use Marvel Rivals emotes to add fun and personality to your game.
How To Emote
Using emotes in Marvel Rivals is an easy way to add flair to your in-game interactions.
It's pretty much the same process, just with a few control differences, no matter what platform you're on.
Hold down the T key to access the emote wheel if you're playing on a PC.
From there, you can move your mouse to hover over the emote you want to use and release the key to perform the action.
Press and hold the left D-pad on consoles (PS5 or Xbox) to see your emotes.
Scroll through the available emotes using the right analog stick and release to perform the selected one.
Emoting can be a blast with your squad or opponents, but keep in mind your character won’t be able to move.
Only use your emotes when you’re not in the heat of battle or when you’ve got some breathing room.
You can switch up the emotes for each hero in Marvel Rivals. Each hero has a default emote to start, but you can unlock extra ones as you progress.
To switch to a new emote, just do this:
- Head to the main menu and click on the
Heroes
tab. - Choose the character you want to customize.
- Once in your hero's profile, open the
Cosmetics
tab and select Emotes. - After selecting the emote you want to equip, click
Equip
. You’ll be prompted to assign it to one of the slots on your emote wheel.
Don't forget that emotes are exclusive to each hero. You'll have to undergo this process for every hero you want to customize.
There’s no way to apply a universal set of emotes, but tweaking each hero’s wheel allows you to adjust things the way you want.
