Each faction can host up to 12 players, and these teams can vie for real-world prizes and in-game rewards.

Many players join factions to collaborate with others who think alike, strategize together, and rise through the ranks as a team.

If you're trying to get into the tournament side of Marvel Rivals, you’ll need to join a faction since that’s how it works in the competitive scene.

Before you think about leaving a faction, it’s helpful to understand how factions work in the game.

Players or game organizers create factions, and you can join an existing faction or create your own.

To create a faction, head to the Tournaments tab and choose the Create Faction option.

You'll need to come up with a name, choose an emblem, and fill out other preferences, such as the region or rank of players.

If you'd rather join an established faction, go to the same section and click on View Factions to explore various groups.

From there, you can either apply to join or enter an open faction.

While it might not seem obvious at first, leaving a faction in Marvel Rivals is much like the process of joining one.

Head to the Tournaments tab in the main menu to find all faction activities organized in one place.

Once you're in, just click the Faction tab to see which faction you're in.

From there, look for your name in the member list and select it to view a menu with multiple options.

Choose Leave Faction, and a confirmation window will ask if you're sure about your decision.

Once it's confirmed, you'll be out of the faction and free to check out other ones or start your own if you want.

Keep in mind that certain factions may have active events or requirements, so double-check that you're not leaving when you’d miss out.
