Marvel Rivals Storm Abilities
Storm's abilities in Marvel Rivals are:
- Wind Blade (Left Click) - Storm launches piercing blades of wind at the enemy.
- Bolt Rush (Right Click) - Storm unleashes a forward-facing lightning bolt.
- Omega Hurricane (Q) - Storm transforms into a hurricane that draws nearby enemies inside and deals damage.
- Weather Control (L SHIFT) - Storm switches the weather to empower allies. Tornado grants a movement boost, while Thunder grants a boost to damage.
- Goddess Boost (E) - Storm channels the power of the weather to empower her. Tornado grants a movement boost, while Thunder grants a boost to damage and summons lightning to inflict passive damage to enemies.
- Health - 300
- Class - Duelist (DPS)
As her name suggests, Storm is a master of the elements, able to cast... storms and other wind and lightning-based attacks. Storm's abilities aren't just about dealing damage though, as she can actually support her team with a powerful speed boost and damage buff.
How to Play Storm in Marvel Rivals
Storm is one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe, so it makes sense that she can be a little tricky to understand at first—especially as a hero with a 3-star difficulty rating.
Even so, Storm's kit is simple enough to understand. As a literal goddess, Storm is able to call the power of the elements to her with a simple snap of her fingers, boosting not just her damage but her allies too. This makes her a rather versatile unit, even though her main role has her as more of a DPS.
Storm's biggest strengths are her Weather Control and Omega Hurricane abilities. With Weather Control, Storm is able to influence nearby allies' damage and speed, allowing for easy ins and outs of combat, and thus controlling the flow of battle. When you and your allies are ready for the big push, use the speed boost to charge in before swapping to the damage boost to clear out all the enemies.
The same can be said for her Q ability, Omega Hurricane. Not only does it give Storm crowd control by pulling enemies inside her tornado, but it allows other allies to take advantage of that too. When playing Storm, synergy is everything.
Most of all though, Storm is a ranged DPS and she does it incredibly well. Her basic attacks deal hefty damage and can pierce enemies. Once you've got an enemy low, use Bolt Rush to seal the deal.
With the ability to fly above the battlefield, you're able to pick foes off from above while avoiding most damage. Plus, starting with 300 health, Storm is more resilient than many other DPS heroes, so you're able to keep up the offensive if you're a skilled Storm player.
Marvel Rivals Storm Costumes and Skins
Storm currently only has two skins in Marvel Rivals, but we expect that will change when the game is fully released. These skins and costumes are:
- Classic Storm
- 97 Storm
While her classic look is definitely one to remember, her 97 skin will make fans of the X-Men 97 Animated Series very happy. It shows off the sleek white and gold trimming of her suit and the flowing length of her cloak. But as the comics will tell you, Storm has plenty of fantastic looks, so expectations of what skins/costumes will come next for her are already pretty high.
That covers all you need to know about Marvel Rivals Storm, including her abilities, how to play her well, and all the costumes currently available for this Omega-level mutant.
