Throughout the Modern Warfare 2 cycle, players loading into the action have encountered all kinds of game-breaking bugs and glitches. Despite the best efforts of Infinity Ward, new issues continue to emerge.
As the focus switches towards the Season 4 Reloaded update, one issue impacting fans involves a popular weapon blueprint causing the game to crash. Elsewhere, community members are sharing classic weapons they’d love to see make a return in multiplayer.
The latest issue involves an audio glitch that prevents players from hearing the action while battling it out on the iconic Shipment map.
Modern Warfare 2 audio glitch ruining Shipment
Uncovered by Reddit use Roast-Chook, the glitch causes all in-game audio to stop while an eerie reverberating noise disrupts the action.
It appears the glitch isn’t an isolated issue, with several other players reporting the problem while darting in and out of the shipping containers. One player says: “Happened to me once on Shipment. No clue what caused it.”
Another fan is seeing the funny side of the problem: “Oh wowzas! I didn’t know we were doing a War of the Worlds collab!” Call of Duty is no stranger to a crossover, and a War of the Worlds partnership certainly has potential.
