Pokémon Legends: Arceus sees you fall out of the sky and right onto the coastline of Hisui, an unfamiliar and ancient land that is later set to become the Sinnoh region that we all know and love. Everyone is a little confused by your appearance at first, but soon enough they realise that you're capable of quelling enraged Pokémon and studying them.
As you adventure around the vast open-world areas of Hisui, committing yourself to your research for the Survey Corps, it won't be long until your Satchel becomes full of materials and berries. You can upgrade your inventory space at the Galaxy Hall, but before long, you learn that Bagin is some kind of swindler.
4,199,500 Pokédollars to carry things, Bagin? Really? Well, luckily enough, money is still easy enough to come by despite the lack of trainer battles around Hisui, and you'll be able to buy all the inventory upgrades and Gingko Guild wares before you know it. In this guide, we explain how to farm money fast in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Find and Sell Valuable Items
We suppose this one is kind of obvious, but selling on all the valuable items you gather in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is certainly the first way to go about raking in the cash. The most valuable items that you can sell to Volo, at a Base Camp, or at the General Store are:
- Stardust - ₽1,000
- Star Piece - ₽5,000
- Nugget - ₽10,000
- Comet Shard - ₽15,000
Don't forget that if you ever find yourself in excess of an item that you don't particularly require, you can go ahead and sell those too.
To be able to craft and sell Star Pieces, you'll need two things. First, you must buy the crafting recipe from the Craftworks for ₽10,000. Then, you'll need to find and collect Shards and Stardust. Stardust will be dropped by Pokémon or found by smashing shiny Tumblestone and Ores. On the other hand, Shards will typically be found inside of Space Time Distortions, and can be a little trickier to gather.
Sparkling Tumblestone and Ores
You will see the likes of sparking Tumblestone and Ores all over Hisui in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, often misleading you into thinking you might have finally found a Shiny Pokémon by chance. As mentioned above, breaking these rocks almost guarantees that you'll get your hands on some Stardust, which you can then use to craft Star Pieces or resell. So, never neglect to break a glistening Tumblestone!
Space-Time Distortions
Of the many strange happenings in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Space Time Distortions are perhaps one of the most odd things to happen around Hisui. However, visiting one reaps great reward for those who are strong enough!

These vortexes happen randomly, but will contain wild Pokémon that cannot be found anywhere else in Hisui, as well as rare items and Shards scattered around the affected area. The items you find can be sold on for a high price, and you'll likely find Shards to craft into Star Pieces, too!
Battle Miss Fortune Sisters
After having confronted this trio of sisters during The Lordless Island (the one where they steal a Hisuian Growlithe from Warden Palina), you have every chance of running into one of them out in the wild.
This is the closest you'll get to a surprise trainer battle in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so be sure to make the most of it. If you successfully manage to beat whichever of the trio confronts you, you'll be rewarded with valuable items such as Stardust and Nuggets, which you can then go and resell.
Catch Wild Pokémon
This is perhaps the main way of getting money in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It's foolproof, but sometimes it feels like a lot of hard work for very little money, especially given the prices that Bagin is charging for Satchel upgrades.
Whenever you report back to Professor Laventon with new findings, he will assess the points and money awarded based on the following categories:
- Number of Pokémon Caught
- Number of Different Pokémon Species Caught
- Number of Pokémon Caught With Back Strike
- Number of Pokémon Caught for the First Time
- Number of Pokémon Caught in Space Time Distortions
- Number of Alpha Pokémon Caught
Keep the above categories in mind, and don't be afraid to try and catch the Alpha Pokémon around Hisui. As you work on completing these tasks and learning more about the Pokémon of Hisui, your Survey Corps rank will increase, as well as how much money is in your pockets.
With any luck, you'll soon be able to make Bagin bereft of Satchel upgrades, or own every outfit from the Clothier. For more on Pokémon Legends: Arceus, check out our comprehensive evolution guide, where to get every evolution item, and read about all of Eevee's evolutions explained!
