Monolith’s Wonder Woman game is reportedly in trouble, as the superhero title is reportedly going through some rough development issues. The game isn’t canceled, not yet at least, but it seems that we won’t be seeing this new DC project anytime soon, which is immensely disappointing.

Greg Miller of Kinda Funny (via The Gamer) revealed his inside scoop on the game, confirming that this title is going through some “troubled” development. While Miller didn’t go into the details of this so-called “troubled development,” the gaming personality feels that it won’t be shown off anytime soon.

“Here you go, you want it? You want the exclusive? I’ll give you my ‘Jeff Grubb’ information. In the past year – cause I’ll leave it ambiguous – I have talked to an insider, who was like, 'This game’s troubled.' That’s it, that’s all I’ll say. So I don’t hold out hope that it’s in a place to show something,” Miller reveals.

Considering how trusted Miller is by most gaming companies, there’s a good chance that this disappointing bit of Wonder Woman news is true. Fans should always take these reports with a grain of salt, but there hasn’t been a ton of news on this game’s progress and that’s disappointing.

There hasn’t been a ton of updates on this AAA DC title since a teaser trailer was released back in 2021. Some of the game’s devs did reveal art for the game, but that hasn’t led to anything concrete over the past few years. While we wouldn’t rule out an appearance from the game in this year’s Summer Games Fest, it could just be a CGI trailer.

Right now, the only thing fans know about Monolith’s Wonder Woman game is that it’s going to use the acclaimed Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor. Some rumors spread about the game being a live-service title, but Warner Bros. were quick to debunk that, claiming it will be a single-player title.
