EA has revealed the latest packs to come out for The Sims 4, and this time they have two very different themes. Sims 4's Moonlight Chic and Little Campers Kits will be available very soon.
The two kits were hinted at recently, with 'cozy nights in' and 'chic nights out' as the hints in the Stay Up 2022 roadmap. All recent Kits are releasing within this same idea, to encourage Sims to own the night and have a plethora of activities to do when the sun goes down. This time, there is one pack aimed more at children and homely Sims, and one for outgoing, romantic, stylish Sims.
Here are some key pages for any avid Simmer: we have cheats, the best mods to use, PC requirements to play the game, and our ranked list of all the expansion packs.
Sims 4 Kits: Moonlight Chic and Little Campers Release Date
Luckily, there's not long to wait for both of these kits. They are both releasing on May 26, through Origin and Steam platforms for PC, and then also on PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
What Is The Moonlight Chic Kit?
The Moonlight Chic Kit for Sims 4 is a clothing and accessory pack, brimming with glamour and style. It is said to be inspired by French influencer and designer, Paola Locatelli. The classic Parisian fashions are to die for.
Modern and stylish clothing items are just waiting to be worn on dates, nights out, and long walks around town.
What Is In The Little Campers Kit?
In a complete opposite to Moonlight Chic, the Little Campers Kit is all about staying at home and creating your own fun with items like a bed sheet-turned-projector, and DIY toys.
Camping gear, even more toys, and cute furniture come with this Kit, which means new memories can be made with the whole family, or adults can rekindle their childhood.
How Much Will Moonlight Chic and Little Campers Cost?
EA's various expansions have different prices and Kits are usually £4.99/$4.99. That seems to be the case with Moonlight Chic and Little Campers too.
What Are Sims 4 Kits?
Maxis has been a big fan of expanding their game since the very beginning. Sims had seven expansions, and Sims 2 had eight. EA introduced Stuff Packs to this generation; releasing ten themed packs containing clothing and home items. Sims 3 was similar with 11 Expansion Packs, and 9 Stuff Packs.
This brings us to the sprawling Sims 4 web of content. First, there were Expansion Packs: large packs that add on to the game, often with a new neighborhood, and some form of 'story'. Think pets, careers, and holidays. Then we got Stuff Packs - 18 of them so far. Maxis then added Game Packs. These are a midpoint between the Expansions and Stuff packs. They're not just items but aren't game-changing additions. Did you get all that?
Lastly, and most recently, EA added Kits to the Sims 4. March 2021 saw the first Kit, Bust The Dust, and since there have been 10 further kits. They are a smaller, download only, version of Stuff Packs, essentially, adding some items or clothing to boost the game a little.
