Since its release, we've been having a grand old time with Halo Infinite. Figuring out all the best guns and jumping into the Battle Pass has been a joy so far, and we're always excited for the new Halo Infinite stuff that's being released.
We might not have to wait too long for new content either. A recent leak from the @leaks_infinite Twitter account showed five potential upcoming maps we'll get the chance to play on.
Of course, the images are placeholders and aren't confirmed in any way. We're still loving all the Halo Infinite maps at the moment, but when new ones are added we'll be sure to give you some handy guides on how to best play on them, including callouts and weapon locations.
The maps are currently known as:
- Bath Salts
- Cataract
- Forbidden
- Beltway
- Solitude
The images you see above don't look brilliant but don't worry - when the maps are released for real they'll look a lot nicer. These are just versions of the map created to perfect the geometry before all that complicated texture and shading goes in.
Some fans are desperately asking for re-releases of favourite maps from the likes of Halo 3, but for the moment we'll just have to wait.
There's no indication of when the new maps will be added to the game. Halo Infinite Season 2 starts in May 2022, so that's the closest we have to a guess. They might come into the game alongside the co-op campaign.
While you wait, why not take a look into more of our Halo Infinite coverage? We have the event schedule and roadmap, as well as help for finding every single collectable in the Halo Infinite campaign - it's not easy.
