How To Unlock The OTs 9
There are two ways of unlocking the newest SMG to arrive in Warzone. The first is by purchasing the 'Inside Job' cosmetic bundle from the in-game store for a reasonable 1200 COD Points. This will give you access to the Undercover Agent blueprint alongside a pre-determined combination of attachments.
The second way takes a little more time to complete. To unlock the base version of the OTs 9, score two or more kills rapidly using an SMG in 15 completed matches. We recommend dropping into Rebirth Island in order to complete the challenge as fast as possible. Once you've unlocked the base version and increased its level, there are a number of attachments to choose from. Here are the best attachments to equip.
OTs 9 Warzone Best Attachments
This particular combination of attachments improves a number of areas which makes the OTs 9 one of the most versatile SMGs available.
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 8.1" Task Force
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Ammunition: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
Like many Warzone loadouts, the GRU Suppressor is an essential attachment to equip as it increases bullet velocity, improves recoil, and provides much-needed sound suppression which manages to conceal your location from any nearby opposition. The choice of barrel will also seem familiar. The Task Force improves strafing speed alongside damage range which further improves versatility in a number of scenarios.
The rest of the attachments improve aim-down sight speed as well as movement speed which will make all the difference in those hectic close-quarters skirmishes. Rounding off this attachment combination is the 40-round fast mag which enables you to eliminate multiple targets in quick succession.
Best OTs 9 Warzone Loadout
Once the best attachments are equipped, the next step before dropping straight into the action is building the best OTs 9 Warzone loadout where Perk selection and choosing a secondary weapon will be the keys to success.
Secondary Weapon
- C58
Thanks to regular doses of weapon balancing from Raven Software, the C58 assault rifle has quickly become one of the best Warzone assault rifles to use in Season 4 thanks to its consistent rate of fire and ease of control. Equipment
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
Since the launch of Warzone, there have been few changes to the equipment that is available to select as part of your loadout, meaning that the combination of a Semtex and Heartbeat Sensor maintains its place as the best combination of equipment to use.
Thanks to the sticky nature of the Semtex, it is the perfect tool to disable any oncoming vehicles that could prove problematic during a match while the Heartbeat Sensor is an essential tool to use in order to determine the location of any nearby opposition.
Perks
The right combination of Perks is ket to make the most of what the OTs 9 has to offer. After experimenting with a number of combinations, here are the best Warzone Perks to equip alongside the SMG:
- Perk 1: EOD
- Perk 2: Overkill/High Alert
- Perk 3: Amped
EOD offers an increase in explosive resistance which can often make the difference between surviving a perfectly cooked grenade or being sent to the Gulag. For those that prefer two primary weapons in the same loadout, Overkill is the best Perk to choose as it allows you to equip the C58 alongside the OTs 9. If you prefer to play aggressively, we recommend High Alert as Raven Software will be updating the Perk which allows players to hear footsteps that are being covered by Dead Silence.
Last and by no means least is Amped. This Perk has become a staple of Warzone loadouts thanks to increasing weapon swap speed. The increase in speed enables you to switch back and forth between the OTs 9 and the C58 as fast as possible in order to react to any possible scenario that may stand in your way.
There you have it! That is the best way to set up the OTs 9 submachine gun for Warzone action. For more Season 5 intel, check out how to unlock the Grav assault rifle and everything you need to know about The Haunting Halloween event.
